Study Abroad

Studying abroad in Valencia, Spain has given me some of the happiest memories of my life. Meeting new friends, discovering new places and experiencing a new culture have been highlights. This program met all my academic and personal goals, fulfilling the required credits towards my architectural engineering degree, while offering a new cultural experience. I’m especially grateful for the friends I have made and how close we’ve become in such a short time.     ~ Breeze Kelly (ArchEngr, sophmore, 2024)

I can’t even begin to express how thankful I am for the greatest four months of my life, but I can say that studying abroad at University College Dublin in Ireland was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I truly hope that anyone who decides to study abroad is able to say the same.                     ~Jon DeVita (CivEngr '16)

The largest engineering firms earn 50-75 percent of their income from international projects, and it’s not unusual for projects to involve teams from around the globe. Studying abroad gives you a unique perspective, open up new career opportunities, and make you a true citizen of the world.

When you study abroad:

  • You pay a program fee rather than ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder tuition
  • You can still use any financial aid you already receive!

There are many pre-approved CVEN and AREN courses available in study abroad programs in countries such as Australia, Singapore, Spain, Colombia, Ireland, Scotland, South Korea, Italy, New Zealand and more!
