The primary brand typeface for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder is Helvetica Neue (pronounced NOY-eh). This face can be used in all of its condensed and regular weights and styles as a display face in all official communications and print collateral.

Helvetica Neue Extended versions are to be used as secondary fonts (see secondary fonts below).

Helvetica Neue Light (45) is preferred for body copy and Helvetica Neue Extra Black Condensed (107) is preferred for headlines. When a heavier weight is desired for various communications, it is important to switch to a heavier version of Helvetica Neue (Bold 75), rather than simply bolding the text in a design or word processing program. This alters the font and is not recommended.

When needed, Arial and Aileron Regular are acceptable substitutes as is Roboto. For web and digital applications, Roboto is an acceptable substitute for Helvetica Neue. Please contact cuboulderbrand@colorado.edu for Helvetica Neue font purchasing information.
