Research Faculty

Additional Teaching Jobs

This college policy is intended to ensure that quality in offered courses remains high and that faculty have time to remain current in both their subject area and technology, adequate time to meet with individual students, and time to grade substantive written work.

Information pertaining to the campus policy can be found on the .

Guidelines

Research Faculty may take an additional teaching job that brings them up a 125% appointment, once per Calendar Year. For questions about this policy, please contact the Research Faculty HR (resfachr@colorado.edu)

Please note: the College of Arts and Sciences does not allow for any staff members who take on teaching duties to go over 100% twice in an Academic Year. In order to accept an additional teaching job, research faculty must comply with both of these stipulations.
