On the Move
- In a significant milestone in the reorganization of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dean Glen Krutz has appointed two deans of division and one interim dean of division: Irene Blair, Sarah Jackson and John-Michael Rivera.
- Amy Hutton, who will join ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder from the University of Alabama, will begin on Sept. 11, overseeing all aspects of enrollment management, including admissions, financial aid, the bursar, and pre-college and outreach programs.
- Philip DiStefano announced Associate Professor Stefanie Johnson as the new director for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder’s Center for Leadership. Johnson will assume her new role on Aug. 21.
- Holly Gates-Mayer is the assistant vice chancellor for the Department of Environmental Health and Safety, and Brian Lindoerfer is the associate vice chancellor for Facilities Management. Both had been serving in an interim capacity.
- Following a nationwide search, the Research & Innovation Office has announced the appointment of Nancy Stevens as the director of the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History, effective Sept. 1.
- Provost Russell Moore announced his appointment of Vijay Khatri to be the inaugural dean of the Tandean Rustandy Endowed Deanship, the first endowed deanship at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder. Khatri brings a strong record of achievement in student success; research and scholarship; diversity, equity and inclusion; and community engagement.
- Jessica Doty—who has served in an interim capacity since January 2022, guiding Health and Wellness Services through a significant period of transition—has been named the associate vice chancellor for health and wellness.
- Chief Operating Officer Patrick O’Rourke announced he has appointed Chris Ewing to serve as the new vice chancellor for infrastructure and sustainability, effective April 1.
- Provost Russell Moore announced the permanent appointment of Massimo Ruzzene to the position of vice chancellor for research and innovation and dean of the institutes, effective March 20.
- Provost Russell Moore announced his appointment of D’Andra Mull to be the new vice chancellor for student affairs. The vice chancellor leads the Division of Student Affairs and works in collaboration with faculty, staff and student leaders to enhance the student experience and each student’s potential for success.
