Beginning in summer 2024, students enrolled in all graduate programs and all undergraduate Colorado residents at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder will pay a per-credit rate of tuition if they enroll in 1, 2 or 3 credit hours in any given term.Ìý
As part of ongoing efforts to advance access, affordability and student success at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder, this move from a flat rate of tuition (equivalent to 3 credit hours for enrollment of 1–3 credit hours) to a per-credit rate will result in significant savings for impacted students.
This change is the result of advocacy and collaboration between Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG), the Graduate School, the Bursar’s Office, Enrollment Management, Academic Affairs and Budget and Fiscal Planning.Ìý
What this change means and why it matters
¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder graduate students and undergraduate Colorado residents will pay a lower rate of tuition if they are enrolled solely in 1 or 2 credits, increasing affordability for internships and other 1-, 2-, and 3-credit-hour opportunities in any given term.Ìý
For example, a College of Arts & Sciences graduate student paying the Colorado resident rate of tuition who enrolls in a 1 credit hour course in summer 2024 will be assessed a per credit rate of $723 instead of the previous flat rate of $2,169.Ìý
