Boulder Chief Operating Officer Patrick O’Rourke on Wednesday announced three finalists for the position of associate vice chancellor for enrollment management. The finalists for the position include:

  • Derek DuBose, associate vice chancellor for admission and director of admission, University of Denver
  • Amy Hutton, assistant vice president for enrollment management, University of Alabama
  • Ofelia Morales, assistant vice chancellor of enrollment management, Boulder

“I am excited for our campus community to meet three finalists who each would bring unique and valuable experience and expertise to Boulder,” O’Rourke said. “I’m grateful for the work of our search committee, including chairperson Katherine Eggert, for identifying finalists who are all highly capable of helping us finalize and implement our strategic enrollment management plan in a way that best supports both student success and the long-term success of the university.”

Finalist interviews with campus leaders will take place in the coming days, with the goal of identifying a final candidate later this summer.

Biographies and résumés for each candidate are available online for public review. Feedback can be submitted via email to evc-coo@colorado.edu by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 14. O’Rourke will review all feedback prior to making an offer to a candidate.

The associate vice chancellor for enrollment management oversees the Division of Enrollment Management, which comprises 250 professional and 200 paraprofessional staff within the offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, the Bursar and Precollege Outreach and Engagement. The role reports to O’Rourke as part of the Strategic Resources and Support leadership team.
