Performers Without Borders

Performers Without Borders (PWB) is a student group housed in the Department of Theatre & Dance that is open to all ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä students interesting in using performance to illuminate social issues and ignite positive social change.

Performances & Involvement

One example of student work done through PWB was a trip to the Navajo Nation to facilitate a student performance of an original shadow puppet/live action musical entitled Clean Energy Access: The Musical by ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä and high school students. PWB also later performed this at the Performing the World conference in New York City at the Castillo Theatre on 42nd Street.

Performers Without Borders is here for students to identify and explore issues important to them, and to engage others through performance-based methods. Bring your ideas for moving from concern to action through the arts!
