  • The grade replacement policy is still under review, but based on feedback from students and staff, we've moved forward with publishing the Spring 2022 form so students can submit requests.
  • The grade replacement policy is currently under review. To minimize any potential impacts to Spring 2022 record processing, we're waiting to accept grade replacement requests for spring until policy review is complete.
  • As a reminder, we will be retroactively applying grade replacement for students retaking eligible courses under the temporary grade replacement policy adjustment. For students who retook an eligible course in Summer 2020, Fall 2020 or Spring 2021, we'll complete this processing by May 14.

  • Effective Feb. 22, 2021, a temporary policy adjustment is now in effect allowing students who earned a low grade in a course taken between Spring 2020 and Summer 2021 to retake that course for grade replacement without it counting against their total grade replacement credit limit. All other grade replacement eligibility requirements still apply.
  • As previously announced, the deadline for students to change a student-option class from letter grade to pass/fail (or vice versa) is now the tenth Friday of the semester. For Fall 2020, that date is Friday, Oct. 30 (prorated for special sessions).
  • In-person and hybrid in-person class waitlists will stop accepting new students at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 17. As seats open up in these classes, students will continue to be rolled off the waitlists, but no new students can join.
  • ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder is providing a grace period for Spring 2020 classes with a pass/fail deadline of April 30 or May 1. Undergraduate and graduate students now have until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 11, to submit a pass/fail request form to change their grade mode from letter grade to pass/fail or vice versa.
  • The Office of the Registrar has received approval to remove the $50 fee associated with both the graduate leave of absence application and the undergraduate optional leave of absence benefits application.
  • New summer admits have traditionally been prohibited from taking Maymester and Augmester intensive classes. However, following a policy review, these restrictions have now been lifted.
