We sent this email at 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021, to students who completed and repeated the same course between Spring 2020 and Spring 2021, and would have been eligible for grade replacement.

Dear [first],

According to our records, you were eligible to apply for grade replacement for the following course, but didn't do so:

[Course info]

Most recent attempt: [semester]

What's Changed in Your Record

We've applied grade replacement to the above course on your behalf in order to equitably apply the temporary grade replacement policy adjustment announced in February.

With grade replacement, the grade you earned in your prior attempt will still appear on your transcript, but it will be replaced in your cumulative GPA and credit totals by the grade from your most recent attempt.

Please note: After Summer 2021, this retroactive processing will no longer occur. In Fall 2021 and all future semesters, you must apply for grade replacement by the posted deadline if you want to receive it.

If You Don't Want Grade Replacement

If you do not want us to apply grade replacement to the above course, reply to this email by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2.

Without grade replacement, the grade and credits you earned in all attempts of the course will continue to be included in your cumulative GPA and credit totals.

If you have questions about your specific situation that weren't addressed here or on our grade replacement page, please email us at registrar@colorado.edu.

Summer 2020 Admits Now Eligible for Summer Intensives /registrar/2020/04/22/summer-2020-admits-now-eligible-summer-intensives Summer 2020 Admits Now Eligible for Summer Intensives Anonymous (not verified) Wed, 04/22/2020 - 00:00 Tags: Enrollment Processing Faculty & Staff Announcements Student Policies Summer 2020 Registrar Network

New summer admits have traditionally been prohibited from taking Maymester and Augmester intensive classes. However, following a policy review, these restrictions have now been lifted.

Given the condensed nature of these classes, we recommend that new students work with their advisors to determine whether taking a summer intensive is the best course of action for them.

Information for Continuing Students

Continuing students will receive an enrollment appointment for the Master Summer Session. This session was created only in order to set enrollment appointments that will encompass all summer session start and end dates. Otherwise students would need an enrollment appointment for each summer session in order to register for classes in that session.

On Feb. 19, 2020, students will receive a registration e-memo specifying their enrollment start date and time, including links to instructions for checking and removing any holds, scheduling an advising appointment, completing their preregistration items and searching for classes.

Any time of the year, you can refer students to our website for step-by-step instructions on how to register.

In the student center, information regarding the student's registration and class search appears on the right side of the page.
