Enrollment in the Bridge Scholars Program extends to all students who completed a ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä system precollegiate program or attended the Summer/1-day Bridge Scholars Program. This encompassing approach transforms them into essential members of our bridge program cohort. Within this community, they gain unfettered access to an array of resources, collaborative ventures, and an unwavering support system. Through this seamless transition, students embark on a journey that not only furthers their education but also forges meaningful connections and lasting experiences, all under the umbrella of the bridge programs enriching environment.

Program Benefits

  • The program will offer a renewable scholarship for up to five years to students who actively participate in one of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Leadership, Excellence, Achievement, Diversity (LEAD) Alliance programs.
  • Provide a minimum of two academic and community/leadership development activities throughout the Fall/Spring semesters. These activities would provide the participants opportunities to enhance their academic skills, explore leadership opportunities on campus and in their respective communities and build community through intentionally planned social events that they might not otherwise actively engage in. Students must participate in one of the academic, community/leadership activities during the Fall or Spring semesters.
  • Provide opportunities for students to develop and/or strengthen their networking skills utilizing existing campus resources and traveling to local, regional, and national conferences to meet and interact with other students and professionals in the field they are pursuing.
