¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder International Risk Committee for Student Travel

The International Risk Committee for Student Travel (IRC) supports the implementation of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Policy on Student International Travel and Programs and related rules and provisions.  The IRC reviews potential cancellation or suspension of Education Abroad programs when deemed necessary by the above policy, considers High-Risk Location appeals, and addresses critical health, safety and security issues involving ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder students, and the faculty and staff accompanying them, on programs governed by the above policy. 

The International Risk Committee for Student Travel (IRC) includes representatives of the following offices and departments: Risk Management, Legal Counsel, Dean of Students, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Police Department, Provost, Education Abroad Committee, Strategic Relations and Education Abroad office. In addition, the IRC consults as needed with faculty and others on campus who have expertise in the locale of a crisis.
