Boulder Black Blossoms aims to promote an uplifting, supportive and reflective space for individuals who self-identify as Black, women, and are enrolled in one of ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder’s Graduate Programs.

- Boulder Black Blossoms aims to create a supportive and empowering environment for Black women in STEM and Education Graduate fields at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder. This program focuses on community building, professional development, and fostering an unapologeticÌýsense of self and belonging.
- Established Fall 2024
- Each program participant willÌýreceiveÌýa $1,000 stipend for their full completion in the year long program.ÌýÌý
- To create a supportive network among Black women in STEM and Education graduate programs, helping them to feel more connected, supported, and less isolated in their academic and professional pursuits.Ìý
- To aid in the personal growth and self-realization of participants by fostering a sense of identity, belonging, and self-promotion in their respective fields and departments.
- To contribute to creating a more inclusive and diverse environment in STEM and Education fields, thereby enriching the academic and research community and culture at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder.

- All ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder graduate students are welcome to participate in this inclusive group. However, the benefits of the program will be most impactful on individuals who self-identify as African American, Black, or multiracial Black, woman, and a graduate student studying in STEM or Education fields. No individual will be excluded based on disclosed or non-disclosed identities.Ìý
- Due to funding constraints, group is limited to 15 individuals this first year.ÌýÌý
- Join us for workshops, guest lectures, and community activities designed to enrich your academic and professional journey. Highlights include monthly book studies and special guest speakers.
- In addition to monthly Wednesday, 6:00 PMÌýmeetings Fall community events are scheduled:
