Italian Undergraduate Degree
The Italian department at the University of Colorado features three tenure-line faculty members and several instructors and lecturers. Faculty specialize in the Italian Renaissance, in modern literature and cinema, and in media and culture.
Instructors provide additional expertise in art history, theater, business, and contemporary Italian culture. Members of the division have produced several books and textbooks in the last few years, and ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä ranks among the leaders nationally in number of majors and minors in the program, making it an excellent place to receive a rich and rewarding experience in Italian language and culture.
The program collaborates with several study-abroad programs, and students can choose either a minor or a major in Italian. The department also offers a new joint Certificate Program with Engineering.
