The Center provides users with a clean, dedicated space specifically for culturing human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), occupying approximately 1,250 square feet of space on the second floor of Porter Biosciences, on the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder main campus. 

We provide:

  • 5 Biosafety Cabinets
  • 7 CO2 and tri-gas incubators
  • Automated Fluorescence Cell Counter
  • Inverted Fluorescence Scanner Microscope (Olympus IX83) with live-cell time-lapse capabilities (Live and fixed cell imaging in monolayer or suspensions, organoids, embryos, organotypic slides, and more!)
  • Sterile Dissection Hood equipped with a dissecting Olympus CKX53 microscope and heated/CO2 stage for work with live cultures and live/fix imagine
  • Olympus Provi CM20 (imaging and monitoring cell confluence, cell count, and cell culture data records)
  • EVOS7000 Microscope
  • CO2 shaker + Remote Controller for Organoids Derivation
  • Transfection Systems (Neon NxT Electroporation & Amaxa Nucleofector)
  • Phase Contrast Microscopes 
  • Liquid Nitrogen Cryostorage Space
  • 6 Water/Beads Bath and ThawSTAR Automated Cell Thawing System
