The Leeds Scholars Program Alumni Board is a dedicated group of former Leeds Scholars who aim to support and enhance the Leeds Scholars Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. The board focuses on fostering a strong alumni network, providing mentorship opportunities for current scholars, and contributing to the program's growth and success through strategic initiatives and events.

Matt Popish - Tri Executive

Matt is an Analyst at Innovest Portfolio Solutions. He is a member of the Research Team and the Capital Markets Team in which he is responsible for conducting research for both alternative and traditional investments. Matt is from Colorado and during his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing in the mountains.

Emma PearsonÌý- Tri Executive

After working in management consulting in Denver for a year, Emma transitioned back to academia and is now a second-year PhD student at Oregon State University. SheÌýis so thankful that she has had the opportunity to stay connected with the program and ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä as a whole. While she has enjoyed living closer to the ocean in Oregon, she misses her mountain views (especially those Flatirons!) and 300 days of sunshine. Sko buffs!

Alex Schwartz - Tri Executive

Alex is a Senior Automation Engineer at Roboyo working to automate tedious and repetitive business processes. While at Leeds, Alex participated in the Leeds Scholars Program and campus orchestra. He lives in Denver with a friend from the Scholars Program and his wonderful dog Bella! As a member of the alumni board, he is excited to help continue fostering the strong relationship between the alumni and current students in the Leeds Scholars Program!

Carly Smith - Co-Director of Events

Carly is originally from Aurora, Colorado, but now lives in downtown Denver working for Deloitte Consulting where she has focused on providing digital marketing strategy, brand management, technology implementation, and a variety of project management services to her clients. Carly also leads a program at Deloitte where they provide pro-bono consulting projects to NPOs throughout the nation. Outside of work, Carly is an extremely proud Coloradan who loves all things CO sportsÌýwhich includes having been a ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Football season ticket holder since graduation! She also loves to golf, ski, go bowling, travel all around the world, read, try new restaurants, and spend time with family/friends.

Stanislaw Sierson - Co-Director of Events

Stanislaw (Stas) now lives in Washington, D.C., and works as a Business Analyst for KPMG. Outside of work, Stanislaw likes to try new things - whether it be visiting a new destination or learning swing dancing.

Kevin Zell - Director of Finance

After graduation, Kevin went into technology investment banking and joined Carta to help build the finance team over six years. He is now running strategic finance at a startup called Fieldguide. Kevin was one of the alumni on our FGX 2024 trip to Tokyo, Japan.

Carson Smail - Director of Communication

At ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä, Carson was not only a member of Leeds Scholars, but also a member of Leeds Honors, Peer2Peer Mentoring, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Leeds Consulting Group. Post graduation, he is now a Business Technology Solutions Analyst at Deloitte in Denver. Carson is passionate about finance, management, and problem-solving.

Lindsay Beil - Director of Recruitment

LindsayÌýis a Colorado native who just completed her MS in Accounting at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä. Before obtaining her master's, Lindsay graduated from Leeds with a triple emphasis in Accounting, Business Analytics, and Information Management. Lindsay is currently studying for the CPA and will begin at KPMG Denver soon as an Audit Associate. Outside of accounting, you can find Lindsay cooking new recipes, running, or cheering on the Buffs!

Anya Aidun - Co-Director of Mentorship

Anya is originally from Longmont, Colorado, and is now a Business Analyst at McKinsey in Denver. She was a highly active student as a member of Leeds Consulting Group, active in Leeds Student Government, and a member of the Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity; she also was recognized as one of ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder’s 2023 Student Leaders of the Year.

After graduation from Leeds, Brad started his career at KPMG in Denver but is now working in financial services in Philadelphia. He is exciting to be working with Anya and the rest of the board to further mentorship within the LSP community.

Amy is originally from Lone Tree, Colorado, and has stayed in Denver since graduating. She currently works as a Senior Associate at KPMG in the audit practice. In her free time, she enjoys going to yoga classes, playing golf, traveling, attending Colorado sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. She is excited to serve as the 2020 Cohort Representative and work with both her fellow board members and current students to create meaningful experiences for current and future LSP students!

Since graduating from Leeds, MeganÌýhasÌýworked in strategy-focused roles across the outdoor retail, technology consulting, human-centered design, and architecture industries. Megan is currently based in Tampere, FinlandÌýwhere she is pursuing a master’s degree in Accessibility and Diversity in Digital Services in partnership with the Fulbright Program. As a representative for the LSP class of 2019, she is eager to maintain connections within her cohort and leverage our alumni resources/knowledge to help future scholars.ÌýÌý

Kaela is a First-year Analyst in BlackRock's U.S. Wealth Advisory Division in San Francisco. During her college years, Kaela was a private equity intern at KSL Capital Partners and worked as a teaching assistant and tutor. She is passionate about mentoring and recognizes the value of finding strong personal and professional mentors. In her free time, Kaela enjoys traveling, skiing, hiking, and exploring new restaurants.

Logan is a sophomore pursuing a dual emphasis in Business Analytics and Finance. As Student Representative, he strives to strengthen the connection between the alumni and the current Leeds Scholars students. On campus, he is involved inÌýAlpha Kappa Psi, Scholars of Finance, Peer to Peer Mentoring, and ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä College Young Life. When not in school, Logan is the supervisor and oversees the summer camp at LifeTime! Logan is passionate about travel and enjoys working out, skiing, and adventuring with friends.
