The Volunteer Resource Center is a department within the Division of Student Affairs which fosters a culture of service by engaging ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder in community-wide issues.ÌýÌýÌý
The most effective way for the VRC to educate students about our programs and services is through in-person classroom presentations. Our general presentation is 5 minutes and covers:Ìý
- ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäServes: GivePulse hub where students can explore an abundance of volunteer opportunities, register for open slots and track impacts.
- ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä in the Community: one-time, student-led service projects organized in collaboration with a community partner.
- Alternative Breaks: teams of students engage in meaningful service during their breaks from school.
- Volunteer Placement Program: students to complete 30 hours of service over the course of one semester with a community partner that is assigned based on interests and skills.
We also offer presentations lasting 10, 15 and 30 minutes.
To schedule a presentation at the beginning or end of class, or to reach out with questions, please emailÌývolunteer@colorado.edu.
