- Leaders from the Bridge Scholars Program attended the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Oahu, Hawaii, where they enhanced their ability to support first-generation students and foster an inclusive environment within the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä community.
- ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Health Plan enrollees can get ready before the new benefits plan year begins July 1. Find out what to expect, whether you decided to keep or update your health plans during open enrollment.
- During its June meeting, the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Board of Regents approved two new sustainability initiatives: the construction of a solar array on East Campus and an 18-building efficiency project.
- Lights, camera, action! The state of Colorado announced plans for a proposal to host the Sundance Film Festival in Boulder. ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder would partner with the state, city of Boulder and local business community to host the world-renowned gathering.
- If you’re hiring a student for fall 2024, create an employer account on Handshake to post the opportunity. ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Student Jobs will phase out by July 1, and Handshake will be the sole place for student job postings.
- At the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Entrepreneurship Center for Music, students can find the skills and tools they need for their music careers. This spring, the ECM awarded $5,820 in grants to support eight student-led professional development and community engagement projects.
- Two ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder scholars have been named 2024 Guggenheim Fellows, recognizing not only their prior career achievements but also their exceptional promise.
- Health and Wellness Services is hosting its seventh Health & Wellness Summit this fall. Faculty and staff who are interested in presenting at the summit should submit a proposal by Aug. 1. Vendors who are interested in participating in the Employee Benefits Fair should submit a request form by Aug. 15.
- Participants gain firsthand knowledge of the university through meetings with senior leaders on the Boulder campus, each of the other three campuses and the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä system office. Applications are open and due June 23.
- Beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, the Euclid Parking Garage (Lot 205) will be closed for annual cleaning and routine maintenance.
