For 75 years, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder has been a leader in space exploration and innovation. We travel to space to monitor sea level rise, melting ice, weather patterns and more. Our researchers explore how to track and remove dangerous debris in space. We research the health of humans in space to inform medical applications for people on Earth.ÌýLearn more about the latest in space research and science at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder.

Artificial gravity—without the motion sickness

July 2, 2019

Artificial gravity has long been the stuff of science fiction. Picture the wheel-shaped ships from films like 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Martian, imaginary craft that generate their own gravity by spinning around in space. Now, a team from ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder is working to make those out-there technologies a reality.
