Colorado employment is poised to modestly expand into 2017, according to a ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder report. In the three-month period ending in September, a total of 27,008 new business filings were recorded with the Secretary of State’s office. There were 119,385 business entity renewals.

Colorado business confidence expected to decrease, then tick up in 2017

Bobby Braun

Braun named new dean of engineering and applied science

July 21, 2016

Provost Moore today announced Bobby Braun as the new dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Braun, who helped lead the team that put the first rover on Mars, is a professor of space technology at Georgia Tech. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and formerly worked at NASA Langley Research Center for 16 years. He'll arrive on campus to join the faculty in October 2016. His role as dean will begin in January 2017.
