A boring operation on the east side of the JILA building next week will restrict access to the Duane Physics and Astrophysics lawn. Noise and vibration impacts also may be experienced nearby.

Three outreach staff recently honored for their outstanding outreach and engagement work in communities across the Front Range.

¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder conferred more than 8,500 degrees Thursday during an abbreviated spring 2019 commencement ceremony at Folsom Field, with remarks by commencement speaker Savannah Sellers.

The proposed shift would see the university assume operation of the route connecting Main Campus to the Discovery Drive area of East Campus beginning in August.

The task force charged with examining graduate student stipends and benefits, including graduate student fees, has posted its draft report for a 60-day community review.

Nine ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder students have been offered prestigious Fulbright awards, and five more have alternate status. Fulbright is the nation’s flagship international educational exchange program.

Two ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder undergraduates who have demonstrated a strong potential to succeed as researchers in science, engineering and math have been named recipients of the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship.

The governing boards, including Chancellor Philip DiStefano, endorsed adding five independent members to the Board of Governors, who will join college and university presidents in setting the direction of college sports.

The work will help ensure the building remains a vibrant hub of activity for the campus community for years to come. The Alferd Packer Grill, Starbucks, Celestial Seasons Teahouse, Jamba Juice, Panda Express and Subway will be closed for the work’s duration.

In late May or early June, a draft report will be made available to the campus community for feedback and suggestions leading up to ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder’s next national accreditation, which is scheduled for 2020.
