Two undergrads score prestigious astronaut scholarship

Matthew Winchester and Matthew Hurst are among a handful of national scholarship recipients selected for 2016 by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Elizabeth Koebele, a doctoral candidate in the Environmental Studies Program, was one of only 19 award winners from 535 applications for the Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy grant.
