Now through Dec. 1, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in a sustainability challenge via the AWorld app from ActNow, which allows users to weave sustainability into their everyday lives and track their impact.
To participate, use the AWorld app to track energy actions that reduce carbon usage. For example, you can take the stairs, unplug your electronics, wash your laundry with cold water and do other energy-saving actions.
The top 20 performers will earn a choice of a beanie hat or pop socket. The top 10 performers will also receive a gift card to Meow Wolf in Denver. The top three performers can choose a ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-branded beanie, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-branded fuzzy socks or a laundry drying rack.
If the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä team reaches the community goal of 2,000 energy actions logged, the Environmental Center will donate $5 per action, a total of $10,000, to verified community projects that reduce ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä's carbon footprint.Ìý
