Chancellor Phil DiStefano

I’m thrilled to welcome you all back to campus for spring semester. And to our new and transfer students, welcome to Boulder!

We have a lot to look forward to in the next 16 weeks: engaging classes, innovative research and creative work, winter and spring sports, commencement and so much more. Here are three things I’m eagerly anticipating this spring:

  • ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Social Justice Summit,ÌýJan. 31: A full day of speakers, activities and community gatherings designed focused on teaching, learning and disrupting oppression. Register now.
  • Leo Hill Lecture, Feb. 27: We’ll soon be announcing this year’s speaker, a fascinating individual whose life experiences are the stuff of Hollywood blockbusters.
  • Conference on World Affairs, April 12–14: This year’s CWA will expand upon our highly successful Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit cohosted with United Nations Human Rights in December.

I hope you’ll find happiness, fulfillment and pride in all of your efforts this semester. Best wishes, and go Buffs!
