Through a national search, the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a dynamic, data-informed, results-oriented fundraising operations leader to serve in the . This leader will be responsible for the success of Office of Advancement operations and the development of a strong team of advancement and alumni professionals.
The vice chancellor for advancement reports to Boulder Chancellor Philip DiStefano. The individual works in collaboration with DiStefano, his executive leadership team, the campus’s shared governance representatives and colleagues at the University of Colorado system and University of Colorado Foundation to set the strategic direction for Advancement.
“The work of the vice chancellor for advancement is critical to the future of Boulder,” said DiStefano. “Donor and alumni engagement are key to the investment in our students, faculty, research and entire institution. Also, this person will take the lead role for the university as it plans for its 150th anniversary in 2026.”
In addition to applications, the university is welcoming nominations of outstanding leaders.
Deb Coffin, the previous occupant of the role, retired in February and Derek Bellin has served in the position on an interim basis. A search committee has begun its work to have the hire in place by July 1.
