The Center for Teaching & Learning is here to support all campus faculty and graduate student instructors as spring courses begin.Ìý
Creating an inclusive classroom in the remote environment can motivate your students and foster engagement. Consider inclusive steps you can take to promote learning among all your students.Ìý
Students report that they are feeling isolated, unmotivated, and desire increased opportunities for connection with peers during the pandemic. Consider providing intentional spaces for student–student connections in remote classes.Ìý
The CTL continues to offer a range of programs that allow educators to make sustained inquiries into teaching and learning. Applications are currently open to join the Anti-Racist Pedagogy Learning Community this spring.Ìý
Workshops and events cover a wide range of classroom-focused themes.Ìý
Finally, the CTL continues to offer free, confidential consultations where staff meet one-on-one with faculty and instructors to discuss any aspect of teaching. Consultations are also available for departments or groups. No question is too large or too small for a consultation: simply fill out the request form and a CTL staff member will be in touch.
