From Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, to Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder faculty, staff and students with a Buff OneCard can bring their immediate family/members of their household to participate in the campus surveillance monitoring program. All participants must be asymptomatic and arrive at the testing site accompanied by their immediate family/member of their household with a Buff OneCard.
From Nov. 23 to 25, the following sites are available:
- Village Center Dining and Community Commons (east entrance), 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Folsom Field (ticket windows near Gate 4), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Kittredge Central (Room S163), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Porter Biosciences (Room B131), 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- University Memorial Center (north side near fountain court),Ìý8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Sustainability, Energy & Environment Community (south entrance at breezeway between SEEC and SEEL), noon to 5 p.m.
From Nov. 30 to Jan. 8Ìýthere will be four sites available, Monday to Friday. All testing sites will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 3. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at all sites:
- University Memorial Center (north side near fountain court)
- Sustainability, Energy & Environment Community (south entrance at breezeway between SEEC and SEEL)
- Village Center Dining and Community Commons (east entrance)
- Kittredge Central (Room S163)
Surveillance monitoring tests are free to ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder Buff OneCard holders’ immediate family/members of their household. Buff OneCard holders must be present at the time of the test and have their Buff OneCard with them.
Notification
If the laboratory finds signs of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) in the household’s sample(s), information will be sent to the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder card holder’s email address. There will not be a notification if the laboratory has not found signs of infection.
¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä surveillance monitoring
The surveillance monitoring program provides a saliva-based PCRÌýtest that looks for signs of SARS-CoV-2 among asymptomatic individuals. The test is not diagnostic and cannot medically determine if a person is positive or negative for COVID-19.Ìý
