A bike and U-lock
Bicycles are a popular and excellent way to get around campus and Boulder. You’ll want to make sure you have a U-lock—the most secure kind—to keep your bike safe.Ìý

You can also check out the online ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Bike Sale in September (stay tuned for dates and details). And has affordable refurbished used bikes for sale. Make sure to register your bike once you get to campus access Bike Program services.
Used books and sustainable school supplies
Save money and natural resources by renting your textbooks or buying them used. Both of these options are available at the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Book Store and many online outlets. You can also check for textbooks in the University Libraries catalog.Ìý
When shopping for school supplies look for sustainable options. This includes notebooks and paper with post-consumer recycled content and refillable pens and pencils, also available at the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Book Store. Writable e-readers, smart notebooks and electronic tablets can be a great option for taking hand-written notes with less paper over the long term.Ìý

Reusable items can be convenient when traveling between campus and your residence. Here are common reusable items to bring:

As we learn more about the impacts of conventional cleaning products on the environment, we recommend using eco-friendly products.
