Buffs kick off another sports season
As the semester kicks off, there are plenty of Buffs competing in fall sports. Let’s get out and cheer them on. Go Buffs!

Ìý
Football
The BuffsÌý2019 football season starts Friday with a Ìýand an old rival inÌýColorado State, with the BuffsÌýonce again playing the Rams inÌýthe Rocky Mountain Showdown. Be sure to wear your best Buffs gear that day, and remember: if you're going to the game, wear WHITE Buffs gear! .
Cross-country
The look for another strong season.ÌýThe women's team will seek to Ìýand return a pair of All-Americans in seniors Sage Hurta and Tabor Scholl. Ìý
The men earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships and finished fourth overall there, following a third place finish in the Pac-12 Championship. Returning for the Buffs are aÌýtalented core with three All-Americans: seniors John Dressel and Joe Klecker, andÌýjunior Eduardo "Lalo" Herrera
Both teams will start the season at the Wyoming Invitational on Sept. 6.
Golf
The men's and golf teams kick off their fall seasons in September. The men's team opens the season Sept. 6–8 at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, while the women's team starts the season Sept. 9–10 at theÌýSMU Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas.
Soccer
The is coming off a fifth-place finish in the Pac-12 in 2018, finishingÌýwith a 13-4-3Ìýrecord. The season kicked off Aug. 22 against Drake at .ÌýHome games atÌýPrentup Field are free with your Buff OneCard.
Tennis
The opens the season following a 2018-19 season that saw the Buffs ranked in the top-75 in the nation by ITA Collegiate rankings for the first time in nine years.
Volleyball
Following a NCAA tournament appearance last season, and a ,Ìýthe ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä women's volleyball team looks to carry its into the 2019 season, opening with the Buffs Invitational starting Friday at the .ÌýHome games in the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Events Center are free with your Buff OneCard.
