Organizers of the Campus Sustainability Summit have put out a call for presentations and award nominations for this year’s event.

The 26th summit is slated for Thursday, April 18, in the Byron White Club Level at Folsom Field. The event, organized by sustainability leaders from across the campus, is an annual information-sharing forum that features updates and strategic discussions on engagement, academic and operational sustainability initiatives.

Summit organizers are currently seeking presentation submissions. This provides a great opportunity to share your sustainability initiative with the campus. The sharing portion of the event will convey a broad sense of the student, faculty and staff sustainability programs happening both on campus and in the community. Presentations will be accepted on a rolling basis through March 15.

Now is also the time to submit nominations for the Campus Sustainability Awards, to be presented during the summit. The awards honor outstanding individuals and departments who demonstrate a sincere commitment to transforming the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder campus into a living laboratory for sustainability through innovation that reduces the university’s ecological footprint, enhances social cohesion and equity, and/or integrates sustainability into the culture of Boulder and our local communities. The nomination deadline is Feb. 28.

The Campus Sustainability Summit is free to attend and open to all ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder students, faculty and staff, as well as community members. Register by April 10 to attend the lunch/awards portion of the event. Agenda information is forthcoming.
