The purpose of Fall Welcome is to ensure the arrival of new students and families to Boulder is an engaging, healthy, inclusiveand positive experience. To achieve this goal, enthusiastic volunteers are needed.

“I look forward to seeing our campus come together to welcome our incoming students and families,” said Christina Gonzales, vice chancellor for the Division of Student Affairs.“Our volunteers are important because they create a positive and memorable Fall Welcome experience and support our students as they transition to life at Boulder academically and socially.”

In addition to creating a positive move-in experience, Fall Welcome provides information on campus resources and ways to get involved, builds community and a love for the university, brings awareness of expectations and responsibilities and establishes a comfortable and welcoming environment to kick off the academic year.

Last year saw 1,800 people volunteer to ensure the success of Fall Welcome. This year, volunteer shifts include helping students move in to their new campus home or assisting students and families in navigating around campus. There alsoare opportunities to volunteer at signature Fall Welcome events, such as Convocation, Kickoffand the Black and Gold Bash.
