Do you have a passion for biological research? The Beckman Scholars Program will award up to two scholarships this year to outstanding freshman, sophomoreÌýor junior life science majors to support independent research in the lab of one of 15 Beckman mentors at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder.

This prestigious program for outstanding ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder undergraduates in the life sciencesÌýwill support your journey to becoming a research leader. The award includes a $21,000 stipend that supports research on campus this summer (2018) through the 2018–19 academic year and the end of summer 2019, along with a $2,800 budget for supplies and travelÌýas well as travel each summer to the Beckman Symposium in California.
Freshman, sophomoresÌýand juniors (those admitted to the program, including juniors, must commit to remaining on campus to do their laboratory research through summer 2019) majoring in one of the departments listed below are encouraged to apply by March 19. Finalists will be interviewed April 9-10, and one or two scholars will be selected to begin research this summer.
