Gardens on SEEC atriumDo you have a big idea to make campus more sustainable?ÌýPut it into action!

Sustainable ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä has approximately $100,000 of funds available for capital investment, the purchase of infrastructure necessary for initiatives, installation of capital projects, educational displays related to capital projectsÌýand non-staff operating costs associated with initiatives.

Upgrades to more efficient appliances and lighting, apps promoting sustainable behavior, a demonstration gardenÌýand educational signage have all been funded in the past.Ìý

Particular attention is paid to initiatives created and led by students. Students with ideas for projects are encouraged to seek staff support in crafting their proposals. Examples of previously funded projects, as well as funding and submission guidelines, can be found on the Environmental Center website.

Small grant applications (less than $2,500) are accepted via online form on a rolling basis throughout the year.
