The Week Ahead, a series geared toward faculty and staff, provides reminders, events and possible items for the docket. Coming up in the next few days are Black History Month events, Winter Walk and Bike Week, an open house to give feedback on transportation projects near campus and more.

    Monday, Feb. 5

    Participate in the 2018 Winter Walk and Bike Week

    The city of Boulder and community partners have teamed up to offer a variety of activities to inspire folks to walk and bike Feb. 5–11.Ìý


    Tuesday, Feb. 6

    The Staff Council blood drive will begin Feb. 6 and run through Feb. 8, located at the Student Recreation Center in the Ice Overlook Room. On Wednesday, Feb. 7, there also will be a donation site on East Campus. .

    A will take place in the weeks to come, hosted by the Black Student Alliance, the Cultural Unity & Engagement Center, the Dennis Small Cultural Center, the Women's Resource Center and others. On Feb. 7:

    • Take a break at the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäE Chili Pot from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Center for Community, room N320.
    • Join a screening and discussion about theÌýAll the DifferenceÌý»å´Ç³¦³Ü³¾±ð²Ô³Ù²¹°ù²â from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dennis Small Cultural Center in room 457 of the University Memorial Center.
    • Discuss "Blackness as a spectrum" at a conversation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Center for Community, room N320.

    Give feedback on 30th and Colorado corridors concept designs

    The city of Boulder is hosting an on-campus open house Feb. 7 to gather feedback on its 30th and Colorado Corridors Study and two other transportation projects near campus.Ìý

    The deadline is Feb. 8 to submit nominations for the University of Colorado Staff Council Service Excellence Awards.
