With over 520 graduates, the program engages participants with campus and university leaders to provide an in-depth understanding of inner workings of the university. Applications are being accepted for the 2017–18 program.Ìý

Program information

Sponsored by in the Department of Human Resources (HR), the University Perspective Program course runs eight months from September 2017 through April 2018.

Participants will have the chance to engage with campus administrators and distinguished faculty; visitÌýnotable locations; participate in networking opportunities; meet with the Boulder city manager; attend a legislative session at the state capitol; and hear from members of the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä president's executive team during visits to eachÌýcampus and the system office.

Selection process

Interested employees must submit a complete application packet to HR. Applications are accepted via campus mail and email. For campus mail, send all application materials to: 565 UCB, Attn. Lauren Harris. For email, send application materials to lauren.m.harris@colorado.edu.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Current staff member at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder
  • Have support of immediate supervisor to participate in the program
  • Be able to fully participate in all program sessions.

Strong consideration will be given to emerging or current leaders at all levels of the organization who are professionally ready for a deeper immersion into the inner workings of the university.

Applications will be reviewed by the appropriate vice chancellor's office. Final selections are made by the applicant’s division leadership. The program coordinator will notify selected applicants in early September.
