The Colorado Combined Campaign | State Employees giving, caring, sharing. This time of year can be tough, with many calls for end-of-year giving that can seem like a stretch when your holiday budget is alreadyÌýtight. While we may not be able to make a gift right now, many of us do wish to support the agencies that make Colorado a better place for all. Consider making a giving plan for 2017 by participating in the annual Colorado Combined Campaign, an easy way to make payroll deduction gifts to more than 700 agencies right here in Colorado.

The Colorado Combined CampaignÌý(CCC)Ìýwas founded in 1988, under Executive Order from the Office of the Governor, to provide State of Colorado employees an opportunity to support non-profits through payroll deductions. A committee of dedicated state employees, who vet participating agencies for low administrative costs and programming that benefits the state of Colorado, oversees the Campaign.

The CCCÌýprovidesÌýa chance for state employees to give to over 700 not-for-profit organizations that serve the state of Colorado. Employees can elect to give a one-time gift via credit card or check, or give monthly via payroll deduction. All transactions can be made online at a secure website hosted for the campaign.

¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder has a history of strong support for the campaign. Every gift, no matter how small, adds up to big support for Colorado non-profits that participate.

A wealth of informationÌýis available onÌýtheÌý. We encourage everyone to participate, as every dollar makes a difference. Small deductions over the course of the calendar year add up to big changes.

In closing, note this quote from Desmond Tutu:

“Each one of us can make a contribution. Too frequently we think we have to do spectacular things. Yet if we remember that the sea is actually made up of drops of water and each drop counts, each one of us can do our little bit where we are. Those little bits can come together and almost overwhelm the world.â€

Please consider putting your drop in the ocean and doing your part to “Create a Better Colorado.â€
