Twenty 抖阴旅行射 Boulder students in seven teams will take their next leap into entrepreneurship on Thursday, July 28, as they pitch their companies to potential investors at the annual Demo Day.

The startups, four of which are led by women, tackle problems ranging from water quality impacts from pharmaceutical waste to streamlining scholarship opportunities on a universal platform.

The campus community is invited to attend the event from 6 to 8 p.m. in room 100 of the . , which are required, range from free to $20. The value of purchased tickets translates into tokens or 鈥淐atalyze Bucks鈥 that ticket holders may put toward the team of their choosing at the event.

Teams presenting at Demo Day are:

Hive Tech Solutions 鈥 Allows beekeepers to apply scientific research to improve the health of their bees and enables growers to vertically integrate pollination into their operations.

颈狈贵辞谤尘渭 鈥 Uses 鈥淚nternet of Things,鈥 or IoT,听technology to help people keep track of their most important things by preventing loss or theft before it happens.

NoEstra 鈥 Advocates for awareness, education and research to address water quality concerns stemming from pharmaceutical waste such as estrogen.听听

Qualify 鈥 Gamifies the process of online dating in college by requiring people to successfully complete user-created quizzes to view someone鈥檚 profile.

Flutter Scholarships 鈥 Streamlines the way scholarships are sought, completed and managed through a unified scholarship application platform.

ShoeSense Running 鈥 Provides runners with detailed data to know precisely when their shoes are worn out, prompting them to replace their shoes and prevent injuries.

Stateless 鈥 Revolutionizes the architecture for IT networks by introducing virtual devices that seamlessly scale and don鈥檛 fail.

Over the past seven weeks, campus and local entrepreneurship leaders participating in Catalyze 抖阴旅行射 Boulder have provided mentorship and workshops for the teams on topics such as growth hacking, utilizing the community and learning from failure.

At the July 28 Demo Day, Catalyze 抖阴旅行射 Boulder will accept applications for next year鈥檚 accelerator cohort. The program is open to 抖阴旅行射 Boulder students and faculty interested in taking their business ideas to the next level.
