The Conference on World Affairs is an annual spring event that brings ideas and inspiration to the -Boulder campus through panel discussions featuring a variety of subjects with speakers from around the world. A committee of student and community volunteers select returning participants as well as new speakers to attend the event each year.
“Our selection committee has been hard at work for the past several months to bring together a group of speakers who we believe will bring civil discourse to the major issues facing our world today,” said Stephanie Rudy, Program Committee chair. “We hope the community and the university will join us to be entertained, to listen to different viewpoints and to broaden their world view.”
The week of events is free and open to the public. Additional information, including speaker profiles, complete schedule and keynote speaker, will be released prior to the event.
Faculty members are encouraged to submit requests for panels concurrent with the day, time and topic of their classes or request a CWA panelist to visit their classes. Faculty requests are due Feb. 8. For more information or to submit a request contact Amanda Roper at amanda.roper@colorado.edu.
