The University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business will present its 50th annual Colorado Business Economic Outlook Forum on Monday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Denver.
“In 1964, Dean William Baughn had the vision of a consensus forecast developed by our College of Business at the time, the business community and the state government,” said economist Richard Wobbekind, executive director of the Leeds School’s . “This year we celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of this partnership in service and outreach to the state of Colorado.”

Compiled by the Business Research Division, the comprehensive state economic outlook for 2015 will feature forecasts and trends for 13 business sectors prepared by more than 100 key business, government and industry professionals.
Economic snapshots from specific counties and regions around the state, as well as updates on international trade, population, labor force, personal income growth and the national economy, are included in the outlook.
Wobbekind will present the forecast at the event and Dan Caruso, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Zayo Group -- a global bandwidth infrastructure provider -- will deliver the keynote address.
Caruso also will be part of a CEO panel discussion along with Eric Roza, CEO of Datalogix, and Jane Miller, former CEO of Rudi’s Organic Bakery.
This year’s concurrent sessions will include “Aboveground Issues on Energy and Energy Development”; “How Long Will This Hot Real Estate Market Last?”; and “Colorado Then and Now: People, Places and Jobs.”
