The Summer Theatre Caravan from ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder will perform the romantic comedy, "It Had To Be You," in five Colorado communities from June 25 through July 15 as part of its summer outreach program.

The ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Summer Theatre Caravan has been performing and holding acting workshops across Colorado since the summer of 1997 to foster the performing arts in smaller Colorado communities. This summer the Caravan is coordinated by two doctoral and four undergraduate ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder theater students assisting with public performances and children's workshops.

Performances will be held in Westcliffe at the Jones Theatre on June 25-26; in Gunnison at the Gunnison Arts Center on June 27; in Salida at the Salida Steam Plant on July 2-3; in Montrose at the Magic Circle Theatre on July 9-10; and in Walsenberg at the Fox Youth Center Theatre on July 15.

There also will be performances at the Washington Park United Methodist Church in Denver on July 17-18 and at the Old Main Theater on the ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder campus on Aug. 27-28.

The Caravan also will assist with acting workshops designed for children ages 8-18. It will join up with the "¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä in Residence" state outreach program for the Children's Theatre Residency to be held from June 7 through June 18 in Montrose.

A Creativity Camp is scheduled for Westcliffe from June 28 through July 2.
