Several students at the University of Colorado at Boulder have received scholarships from the Max Kade Foundation to study abroad in Germany.

The Max Kade Foundation, a German foundation interested in higher education and international exchange, awards travel scholarships to students participating in ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder exchange programs to Germany.

Following are the names of each scholarship recipient, their hometown, award amount, location and duration of study and academic major:

Boulder - Sarah Bailey, $1,000, Regensburg, Germany, academic year 1998-99, German and Russian; Ann Ilaria, $1,500 Regensburg, Germany, academic year 1998-99, German and kinesiology; Holly Woodsome, $1,000, Regensburg, Germany, academic year 1998-99, biology and German.

Colorado Springs - Kathleen Smith, $1,000, Regensburg, Germany, academic year 1998-99, English.

Littleton - Zuzana Stohr, $1,000, Regensburg, Germany, academic year 1998-99, marketing.

Monument - Charles Yoos, $1,000, Regensburg, Germany, academic year 1998-99, physics and chemistry.
