US West Communications President and CEO Solomon Trujillo to speak Saturday

Thirty-two graduate minority business students from 16 top universities are on campus this week for the Andersen Leadership Seminar (ALS), co-sponsored by the College of Business and Administration at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder and Andersen Consulting.

The seminar, which runs July 23-27, is designed to enhance the leadership, communication and networking skills of minority students. The seminar includes team-building and problem-solving exercises, a group case-study project and presentations by local business leaders, including U S WEST Communications President and CEO Solomon D. Trujillo. TrujilloÂ’s speech is at 11:15 a.m. Saturday on the lawn of the College of Business and Administration at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder. Participants also will hear from Andersen Consulting executives and tour their Denver office.

Participants were nominated and selected by their program directors and Andersen Consulting. Participating universities include: Duke, Ohio State, Penn State, University of Arizona, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder, Florida, Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Michigan, Minnesota, UNC-Chapel Hill, USC, UT-Austin, Washington and Wisconsin-Madison.
