The ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Pandemic Study is Tracking Viral Variants on Campus

A large team of scientists from departments across campus† are studying how the SARS-CoV-2 virus is changing over time as it moves through our campus population. The ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Pandemic Study is enrolling people who are using the campus saliva testing sites, or plan to use them at some point in the future. (You only have to enroll once.)Ìý The study collects survey information about people’s experiences during the pandemic, and uses their leftover saliva samples for research including sequencing viral variants and measuring viral loads in different individuals. Researchers are also investigating ways to improve COVID-19 testing and pandemic response strategies.
