- Colorado’s Equal Pay Act (EPA) took effect on Jan. 1, and the Office of Human Resources continues to prepare and educate the campus community about the possible impacts the new law will have on university employees.
- Chief Operating Officer Patrick O’Rourke and Associate Vice Chancellor of Health and Wellness Services Jennifer McDuffie updated city council members on the campus's spring semester plans.
- The university is launching a transformative effort to redesign its budget allocation model. Chief Financial Officer Carla Ho’a and Executive Vice Provost for Academic Resource Management Ann Schmiesing are leading this highly collaborative, campuswide endeavor.
- Two Strategic Resources and Support (SRS) staff members were among four university employees who received 2020 Employee of the Year awards from Chancellor Phil DiStefano. Another seven also received nominations for their outstanding professional contributions during one of the most challenging years in university history.
- Radiation Safety Officer Margaret Ashton of Infrastructure & Sustainability was recently appointed to the State of Colorado's Radiation Advisory Committee.
- The Infrastructure & Sustainability Mentor Program (ISMP) was recently mentioned in a College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉäPA-HR) article as an example out-of-the-box thinking for mentorship programs.
- Kelly Fox, COO for ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder, was recently honored by her Excellence in Leadership alumni colleagues as a 2019 Excellence in Leadership awardee.
- Katie Walker was recently promoted to the Director of Fiscal Planning & Analysis, and Venessa Ortega has been promoted to the Assistant Director of Fiscal Planning & Analysis.
- Valerie Simons and Regina Tirella of the Office of Integrity, Equity and Compliance, along with Kristi Wold-McCormick, Office of the Registrar, co-authored a chapter in a recently published textbook called 'Adjudicating Campus Sexual Misconduct and Assault: Controversies and Challenges (First Edition).'
- Kristi Wold-McCormick, university registrar, was elected to serve on the national board of directors for the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
