Our Office Supports

Assessment

SRS unit leads can request support developing, implementing, and analyzing data in their unit. The goal of this service is to focus on strategic analysis and measuring the effectiveness of programs and services.

Project Management

SRS departments are supported through the life cycle of a project, including discovery, architecture, execution, monitoring, and closure. Additional project management activities may include defining activities and sequencing, risk reduction, and documentation.

Strategic Management

OOE works with units to achieve their goals through the intentional development and coordination of activities designed to move projects and initiatives forward. We bring a comprehensive approach to change management, decision-making strategy, and stakeholder support.

Strategic Planning

OOE works with SRS units to develop, facilitate, and support strategic planning. This includes working on a variety of strategic journey activities and aligning plans with institutional goals.

Our Project Process

1) Project Submission & Approval

Division leads and/or their designees complete the project intake form. The project submission form collects high-level information about the initiative and will be used as a foundational document that informs the intake meeting.

Projects can be submitted on Teams here:

2) Intake Meeting

The intake meeting allows the OOE representative to discuss the project goals with the sponsor. Key to the success of the intake meeting and the project is a discussion about the scope of project to ensure there is the appropriate capacity, resources, and time to initiate work on the project.

3) Charter Creation

Based on the conversation and submission, the OOE representative will create a project charter that outlines the details. These will include a brief description of the current state, the outcomes and deliverables of the project, the project owner, team member, scope of the project, budget and requested project due date.

4) Project Kick-off

Once the charter is approved by the COO and the project owner, the OOE representative will begin coordinating the project team and developing the project plans. Throughout the project OOE representatives will provide regular status updates to the project owner and COO regarding milestones reached and issue escalation.

5) Project Closeout

OOE representatives will closeout projects with team members and project owners. COO will be notified that the project has been closed and deliverables presented.
