Real Estate Services

Real Estate Services (RES)Ìýis responsible for managing 13 properties located on the main and east campuses. The Research Building System has approximately 1,191,273 gross square feet of building space, which is typically leased to University, governmental, not-for-profit, and private affiliated research organizations. We also own and manage six student rental unitsÌýin the Grandview Terrace neighborhood adjacent to main campus.Ìý

Under the supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Business Strategy,Ìý¸é·¡³§Ìýfollows University policies and procedures and provides oversight for state leases and other real estate contracts. This process includes statutory approval of all leases; coordination with the state’s contracted real estate brokers; and maintaining the inventory of University-owned and leased property.

While leasing and property management are the largest day-to-day responsibilities of RES, other areas of real estate activities area also include real estate acquisitions, strategic planning, and negotiation and execution of rights-of-way and easements, etc.

The RES management team is on site and ready to serve you. Our goal is to deliver quality management services and to develop a mutually rewarding relationship with our customers. We hope to accomplish this by interfacing with you on a regular basis to ensure that your specific needs are satisfied.

    • Antenna, satellite dish, and tower agreements
    • Coffee/Café satellites
