If so, please provide a detailed explanation of your current circumstances in your petition, along with your plan to achieve compliance with Colorado residency requirements once social distancing measures are over. Please be as specific about dates and details as you can.

State & Federal Tax Returns

The federal and state tax filing deadlines have been extended to July 15, 2020; however, we strongly recommend filing ahead of that date to allow you to submit your completed residency petition before the July 17 petition deadline.

Considerations for International Students & WRGP Participants

International students with student visas (e.g., F-1, F-2, H-3, J-1, M-1, M-2) do not typically qualify for in-state tuition and should not submit a petition without first contacting the tuition classification office at tuitclass@colorado.edu.

Graduate students who qualify for in-state tuition rates under the Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP) should not make changes to their domicile and should not petition for in-state tuition.
