Safety Alert: PD investigating robbery outside Hale Science
To the Boulder Community:
On Friday, April 19, 2019, at approximately 11 p.m., the Boulder Police Department (“PD”) was notified of a strong-armrobbery. The robbery occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on the same dateand was initially reported to Boulder Police. The victim reported that she was on the southeast corner of the Hale Science building when a white male appeared from behind a bush and demanded money. The suspect did not show or mention a weapon.
The suspect is described as:
- A white male
- In his 20’s
- Approximately 6 feet, 1 inch tall
- A short, brown beard
- Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with hood pulled up over his head
