Siddhant Agrawal joins the Math Department
The department is pleased to welcome Dr. Siddhant Agrawal as the new Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics. Dr. Agrawal received his PhD from the University of Michigan in 2018. He had a three-year appointment as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Agrawal then spent three years as a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas, Madrid, Spain.
Dr. Agrawal's work is in the analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations, in particular in water waves and the Euler equation. He is interested in questions of existence, uniqueness, singularity formation, and the effect of boundaries.
With regard to his newest appointment, Dr. Agrawal says: "I am really excited to join ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder as a faculty member and I am looking forward to getting to know everyone in the department."
