  • B.S. Student
  • APPLIED MATH

Josh Jacobson began undergraduate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä Boulder in Fall 2015. He is interested in pairing these studies with environmental applications and recently added a minor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. His  undergraduate research involves the development of an interactive web application using multi-objective analysis to help water utilities make informed decisions regarding risk and climate extremes. In general, Josh’s goal is to combine data science algorithms, high performance computing (HPC), and mathematical models to study sustainable solutions to large scale environmental issues. Josh has lived in Colorado for seventeen years and enjoys making time for skiing, cycling, backpacking, climbing, and just about anything outdoors.
