Barry and Sue Baer were early supporters of Jewish Studies at ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä-Boulder as they have a passion for seeing Jewish Studies develop on the Boulder campus.Ìý Barry is a graduate of ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä’s Leeds School of Business (BS and MBA) and Sue has been an avid supporter of ¶¶ÒõÂÃÐÐÉä serving as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Arts and Sciences.
The Baers now have two endowed funds, one for undergraduate students and one for graduate students.
Each year, the Undergraduate Endowed Jewish Studies Scholarship supports a promising undergraduate Jewish Studies student who demonstrates academic success, a passion for public service, and scholarship that benefits the public good or other demonstrated evidence of a civically engaged student.
In 2014, the Baers launched a Graduate Fellowship to support the work of our ever-growing graduate student community.ÌýSupporting our diverse students as they conduct cutting-edge research and address scholarly gatherings across the globe, this new fellowship places the Program in Jewish Studies at the forefront of graduate training at the University of Colorado.
